Crown Mushrooms™ currently focuses on producing high-quality oyster mushrooms (pleurotus ostreatus), a popular specialty variety.
Besides being low-fat, oyster mushrooms are also a good source of non-starchy carbohydrates, dietary fiber, and protein. They are rich in minerals (calcium, phosphorus, iron, etc) and vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, Vitamin-C, B-Complex, and niacin).
Oyster mushrooms are delicious; they are easily incorporated into many different recipes to improve flavor, presentation, and nutritional status.
